Antezole Deworming Tablets are an anthelmintic product for use in dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. The product is indicated for the treatment of certain intestinal worm infestations, including roundworm, tapeworm, whipworm and hookworm.
Dosage:
The recommended dosage is 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight. The tablets are scored into quarters, allowing them to be divided for more accurate dosing where required, particularly for smaller animals.
General deworming schedule for puppies:
- From 2 weeks of age: every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age
- From 12 weeks to 6 months: once a month
- From 6 months onwards: every 3 months
Always follow the product label and/or veterinary advice for the appropriate dosing schedule for your animal.
There is no need to fast your pet before or after administering the tablets.
Flea and tapeworm control:
Fleas can play a role in the transmission of certain tapeworms. Effective flea control can therefore form part of an overall parasite-control programme. Where necessary, use an appropriate flea-control product alongside a suitable deworming programme.
Important:
For animal use only. Use only in the animal species and according to the directions specified on the product label. Do not administer to any other animal species. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Consult your veterinarian if you are unsure about the appropriate treatment or dosage for your pet
