Hill's™ Science Plan™ Puppy Healthy Development™ Medium Breed Chicken is formulated for healthy development in medium breed puppies. With clinically proven antioxidants for a healthy immune system and optimal mineral levels for healthy skeletal development. This diet is enriched with a high level of DHA ,an essential fatty acid critical to the formation and development of brain and eyes which occurs naturally in mothers' milk. Medium breed puppies should be fed this diet form weaning until 12 months of age. This diet is suitable for pregnant or lactating bitches, During the last half of lactation, puppies can be weaned on to the same Science Plan™ Puppy food that is being fed to the bitch, which simplifies the weaning process.
