Animalzone Parrot Food Natural is the most natural balanced bird food available for parrots.
All grains are first roasted, thereafter milled and shaped with a cold process thus ensuring all additives; vitamins, amino acids, spirulina, anti-oxidants, are not exposed to high temperatures. This increases digestibility even more than with extruded products.
Palatability is improved with the addition of dried vegetables and the natural nutty taste and smell of the roasted grains. The pellets are made to a size the parrots like.
Includes roasted maize, roasted soybeans, roasted peanuts, vegetables, raw cane sugar, spirulina and grape seeds.
My African Grey is quite a fussy eater but he likes this pellets. So when birdy is happy, I am happy.
I recently introduced my parrots to pellets and I was worried they wouldn't like it as they are picky eaters. The first two packs were purchased from a vet clinic and the pellets were really small. My birds eventually got to liking them, however when I purchased the 3KG tub from PetPlus and saw how big the pellets were, I was again worried that my birds would not eat it. But low and behold they took a liking to it much quicker than they did the first time! I do have to break the pellets into smaller pieces for them but they are loving it! Especially at such a reasonable price I am more than pleased with it!
I loved the look of the pellet and am very satisfied with the product, as with the 3 individual 1 kg packets of other pellets I bought. I just have one question, I added a very minimum seed mix as well I’m not sure wether they are actually eating the pellets or just turning it into ground powder. I don’t want them to starve. Any suggestion on how to make the compete chage over would be greatly appreciated. Since I would like to continue with pellets an would shortly be ordering more.
Thank you for your help and concern.
